Due to a recent announcement from the Department of Education, students selected for verification for the 2017/18 Academic year can submit a 2015 signed Federal Tax Return (1040, 1040A or 1040EZ) for verification purposes.  You will not be required to submit an IRS Tax Return Transcript for the 2017/18 Academic year.  Additionally, students who were required to submit the IRS Verification of Non-filing letter will no longer be required to submit that document for verification purposes.  This requirement will be waived in the Student Administration system.

The last day to process Federal Direct Stafford Loans for the Summer 2017 term is Wednesday, August 23, 2017.

Federal Direct Subsidized/Unsubsidized Loans: You must accept the loan via the Student Administration system by August 23, 2017. Loans accepted after that date cannot be processed.

Federal Direct PLUS Loans: The parent or graduate student borrower must be approved for the loan via http://studentloans.gov by August 23, 2017 to ensure processing by the deadline.

The last day to process Federal Direct Stafford Loans for the 2016-17 aid year is Wednesday, May 3 2017.

Students in the following categories should expect their financial aid award packages to be available via the Student Administration System on the dates provided:

2017-2018 Financial Aid Packages

• Incoming Undergraduate students: The financial aid awarding process began on March 13, 2017.  A notification has been sent to the student’s personal email address, as well as to their campus email address if available, to view their financial aid award package.
• Continuing Undergraduate and Graduate students:  The financial aid awarding process began on April 3, 2017.  A notification has been sent to the student’s university email address.
• New Graduate students:  The financial aid awarding process began on April 3, 2017.  A notification has been sent to the student’s personal email address.

 

Summer 2017 Financial Aid Packages

• Students enrolled in a summer 2017 session and who have applied for summer financial aid: April 2017.
